The Realignment is how you get back out in front of it, and set the business and yourself free to do what you built it for.
FOUNDED BY EDWARD TERRY
AUTHOR OF THE LIFE MASTERY BOOK & THE SIGMA CODE

Becoming Sigma is a sovereignty and self-mastery process for the leader who has built a capable business and can feel themselves and the organisation they lead beginning to drift.
The decisions wait for your call, the problems climb back to your desk, and the business moves at the speed of your attention and no faster. You lie awake rehearsing a conversation you handled badly, second-guessing a decision you have already made, and underneath it sits the quiet sense that you have become the bottleneck, the constraint everything now waits on. You meant to be working on the business by now, not buried in it, and yet stepping back feels less like a break than a risk you cannot take.
Another strategy, another framework, one more thing you are apparently missing, more pressure applied to problems that pressure created in the first place. It never quite ends, because it is not meant to. The industry that sells you the next thing needs you to keep needing it.
And there is a quieter voice that agrees with all of it. The one that tells you to prepare a little more, get a little readier, wait until you have it all figured out before you step back or hand anything over, because after all, who else is going to hold it together. That voice sounds like diligence. It is the thing keeping you exactly where you are.
The way out was never more force. It is alignment, the very thing force destroys.
The decisions no longer all wait for you, and the week stops being spent on fires you did not light. Your best people do their best work again, because it is no longer lost to noise, process and politics. The company keeps its direction when you step back, moving toward what you built it for rather than drifting away from it. And you, with the room to lead it again rather than carry it, to think and build and be something other than the place every problem ends up, so the liberation is the company’s and yours alike.
We work together over a defined period, usually three months, alongside each other and hands-on, as a team rather than a report delivered from outside.
We begin with you. Before anything in the business changes, we get clear on what it is actually for, and on where you, the person who built it, have drifted from that. This is the part almost everyone skips, and it is the reason their changes never last. A company follows a leader who leads themselves first, so you are the first thing we realign.
Then we carry that realignment outward. With you steady and clear, we turn to the business, and we find the friction, the places where your people’s best thinking is being lost to noise, process and politics, and where the company is fraying at the edges. One layer at a time, we clear it until the business holds its own shape instead of relying on you to hold it together.
And I stay through it. This is the part that separates realignment from advice. I am beside you through every wobble until the new form holds on its own, rather than leaving you with a plan and wishing you luck. The work is done when the business runs on its own aligned centre, moving toward what you built it for, and you are free to lead it rather than be trapped inside it.
It is bespoke and deliberately limited work, so it begins with a conversation to see whether it is right for both of us.

A person loses themselves by living to someone else’s specification, performing a life built around other people’s expectations for long enough that the original signal gets buried. An organisation loses itself in much the same way, competing in everyone else’s water, copying whatever the category rewards, quietly sanding off the one thing that made it distinct until it sounds indistinguishable from its rivals.
The cure does not change with the scale. In both cases the work is to stop borrowing the blueprint and to recover the authentic thing underneath, the self that was there before the world reshaped it, or the uncontested water that only this company can credibly own, and then to build a code strong enough to hold that identity in place when the pressure arrives.
For a person, the result is a life lived with sovereignty. For an organisation, it is a blue ocean, a differentiator no competitor can follow, because it is not a tactic to be copied but an identity that has to be lived.
One philosophy, two audiences, which is why The Sigma Code is written to be read both ways: The Life Mastery Book gives the journey its structure through the EMPOWER system, and The Sigma Code, in development, is the character layer, twelve laws for leading with sovereignty and inner command that hold a life and a company together by precisely the same logic.
The Life Mastery Book gives the journey its structure: the EMPOWER system, seven principles that move a person from disconnected striving toward genuine alignment.
The Sigma Code (in development) goes into the character layer: twelve laws for living with sovereignty, integrity and inner command, drawn from the tradition of the enlightened warrior. It is written to be read twice, once as a person and once as an organisation, because a code of honour holds a life together and holds a company together by precisely the same logic. Same book, same Mind, two perspectives.
I have built businesses from nothing: a restaurant group grown to four sites, a web company, and an events company, so I know the founder’s challenges first-hand rather than from a case study. I have also brought order to some of the largest organisations there are, from military avionics to the smart-card technology behind contactless payments, so I know how to bring structure to a business without draining the life from it. I have spent years as an actor and filmmaker too, across independent work and major studio productions, which taught me to read a room and a person the way a director reads a scene. And running quietly alongside all of it, for forty years, has been a study of consciousness and how people truly operate, which is where I learned the principle underneath everything I do: that a team aligned around a clear code will outperform one driven by pressure, every time.
In 2020, a near-fatal stroke stopped me from keeping those threads apart, and they became one. One moment I was running businesses and chasing targets, always moving; the next I was in a hospital bed, facing the question I had been too busy to ask, whether I had been living or only maintaining momentum in a direction I never properly chose. What came out of the rebuilding is the work I now do. That is why my view is holistic: the person and the business working as one, aligned and coherent. I am not a consultant who studied business, nor a coach who later found spirituality. I draw on all of it at once, the builder, the engineer, the storyteller and the guide, brought to bear on the same problem, and that is the advantage I bring to yours.
Some of the work lands fastest in a room with many people at once, space to think and nowhere to hide. I deliver keynotes, workshops and facilitation for leadership teams, offsites and events, bringing to the stage the same principles I bring to the boardroom.
A selective circle of founders, leaders and change-makers, convened to learn, grow and build alongside people of their own calibre. The club offers experiences worth crossing the world for: extraordinary gatherings, staged with real craft, where powerful people think, connect and create. Ex Intus Concordia.
If you are seeking fast answers, constant reassurance, or someone to hand you a plan and take the weight off your hands, this will not fit. If insight excites you more than responsibility, or clarity feels confronting rather than grounding, you will find friction here.
The Realignment will not fix your business for you. It helps you take full responsibility for its structure, and for your own. That asks for patience, honesty, and the willingness to stay with a question long enough for it to change how you lead.
